Our Story
LawnSkapers started where a lot of good Upstate businesses start: a homeowner couldn't find a crew that would actually show up, do the work, and treat the property like it mattered. So Clarence Chandler set out to build one.
We're a locally owned, locally operated home services company headquartered in the Greenville area, with regular routes through Anderson and Piedmont. We hire local. We work local. The trucks you see in your neighborhood belong to people who live a few zip codes over — not a regional brand that's never set foot on your street.
The work itself is simple: lawn care, pest control, junk removal, and general property cleanup. What's different is the standard. Same crew on your property. Same standard of work. Same person picking up when you call. That's the whole pitch.
Rooted in the Upstate
The Upstate of South Carolina isn't a single market. Anderson is its own thing — bigger lots, more pasture-edge properties, a different mix of pest pressure. Piedmont sits in the middle, tight to the river, with a lot of wooded edge that keeps the cleanup and pest crews busy. Greenville is denser, more HOA-driven, with neighborhoods that hold each other to a high standard for curb appeal.
Our crews work all three every week. That local familiarity is the difference between a yard that looks freshly mowed and a yard that looks well kept — and between a pest treatment that misses the actual pressure point and one that solves the problem the first time.
